Thank you very much, sir!

Anyway, I really hope that the 15k Aeromancer set has a change in art soon, or that's 75k gold down the tubes.....

I did that mission with henchmen for my ranger

the ranger dragon didnt cast any elite before death

henchmen may be risky for capturing some skills
- unless you want to dance around a bit

if I'm reading the patch message correctly, both sets are in game

I posted earlier that I have Forge Geomancer armor but didnt notice a big change

should be able to find people wearing "before and after" ascension armor

EDIT:
on 2nd thought - they are probably referring to the 15k armor
(I'm only wearing the 1.5k version)

I've heard that you don't see the Facet of Nature cast Melandru's Resiliance. You have to spam SoC until you get the right skill. That's what I heard.

To unlock runes, upgrade components and most importantly, skills.

Well it's safe to say Drake farming is a thing of the past now, i'm a W/N level 20 with full dragon set and every lightning ball that hits me is doing -44, any more than 2 and you start getting your ass kicked. ANet's intention is to "reduce" grind but from my point of view every fix seems to kill the PVE section of the game.

Don't get me wrong, it's boring at times but I like hunting, looting and crafting new armours and buying elusive rares and runes, the updates are just making it more and more difficult.

The patch is in, non-english speakers are moved to their own private corner, and life is good!

I think anyone who had already bought the "same-look" armor had already got their 75k down the tube... I don't think they will change the armor on you... instead, they only change the armor in the newly made one.

That's my guess of probably how it goes... Still need some solid confirmation thou.

I cleared out a lot of meaningless posts and flames from this thread. If you have any questions as to why a post of yours got deleted, or have a good reason why a post should not have been deleted, please PM me.

Please stay on topic guys(and gals)- if you have an issue with another poster here, take it up with them in PM's- don't spam the boards with it. We've got thousands of people reading these boards every day, and nobody really wants to wade through pages of people bickering to get to the meaningful posts.

I'd like to remind people to read our forum guidelines. A couple good resources that you should also go over before posting are:

Improved or clarified secondary missions in D'Alessio Seaboard, Divinity Coast, Augury Rock, Thirsty River, Ice Caves of Sorrow, Thunderhead Keep, Ring of Fire, Abaddon's Mouth, Hell's Precipice.
Other than having the text appear that King Khanmir (sp?) says in your chat box, they altered the mob AI. No longer can you snipe the monsters and necrotic traversal your way across without starting the timer. The monsters won't move in range until you've opened the gate.
Was kind of silly hearing the group advertisements, "Looking for necrotic traversal necros and rangers." or, "LFG> Uber necro with necrotic traversal. Kill everyone and the timer never starts" or similar things.

In thirsty river now the Forsaken kept killing the king whenever I went there which might be a bug sense that pretty much rules out any chance of ever being able to do that secondary (assuming of course that he has to be alive to leave ). Was only there of course for warriors endurance (which the boss still won't use)

I made 3 passes in Riverside and blue drops seem to be around 50% of what they used to be. The giants also used to drop 2-3 yellow no identify armor and now your lucky to get a purple one. Killed 9 Zealots and got squat. Still good armor salvage if you can sell it back at 150+ but I need the runes unlocked and not more money..... Like several said above me that this really made it slower for the farmers to unlock it all. Nothing was said about Riverside in the notes but I knew it had changed when I zoned in loading 4 files and 3 runs seem to agree.

Yay, districts for every language.
As if i did not predict it... they are mostly empty, thus setting back Europe even more in the Favor of Gods Part as the Pool of Players just dwindled even more.

About the nerfing... partly i like this and partly i hate this.
Seeing all those people that used it having multiple 100 k from whatever... Sigil Selling, Rune Farming and Item Farming.. equiped with the very best items on the market...

Now just comes the new player after the nerfings and is running into a wall. It will take him like 20-50 times more work to get to the point many farmers have gotten so far.
Items will stay up of course as the farmers still can pay it as their huge amount of gold did not get nerfed.

/edit:
The only possible thing to do now is, find your own farming spot and keep it a secret. Chance is, telling it anyone it will get nerfed and increase the gap between you and the former farmers even more...

Does that mean my Pyromancer will do Water damage? If it is so, then my first target will be the Winter Spirit; if so, then my Fire Storm will be a Fire Storm dealing water damage in the same amount ? Will I do the same amount of damage to White Golems? (sorry, Im at work and cant remember the real name)

Anyone has tested it? I think they should explain a little bit more the updates (Ok, too much complaining counting theyre doing a GREAT job with their updates... )

Anybody else notice pre and post patch items not stacking?

For example, my post-patch Thorny Carapaces and Maguuma Manes don't stack with their pre-patch counterparts.

Yup. That's the way the skill is meant to work (and the way the skill description in-game says it works); it changes any elemental damage into cold damage. You deal the same amount of raw damage, however the damage is now treated as cold damage and will interact with other skills (your Fire Storm can now trigger Spinal Shivers for example) and armour etc as if it was cold damage.

As to whether or not you do the same amount of damage to those golems - that depends on what armour ratings they have. If they are weak against cold, you'll do more damage. If they are weak against fire and strong against cold you'll do less. Most of the time, though, it'll be the same.

Hmm, if you actually looked , there are 29 elites for the two classes, so he was actually saying he got all bar 3, thats 26 elites in 10 hours.
That is a breeze, and nothing to complain about.
